JOB TITLE: Technical Project Leader & Product Technologist Assistant Manager Arabia-Nutrition

JOB PURPOSE
We are looking for a passionate, motivated and energetic R&D professional who is ready to work on Unilever’s biggest brand Knorr, Hellmann’s… The jobholder delivers on time in full agreed business projects primarily within the defined portfolio and ensures that the products developed are in compliance with legislation and regulation. The jobholder will act as strong business partner to the local organization and will enable relevant business decisions. We are looking for a team player, who works proactive and independent in a multi-functional, multi-cultural environment and is ambitious to deliver the best quality.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
Manage projects and technical activities (Innovations, Renovation, Line Extension and /or Cost Optimized projects) as a Technical Project Leader.
Ensure successful OTIF implementation of innovation, renovation and VIPs (value improvement projects) activities in Arabia Business.
Translate MCO needs into appropriate input for the category innovation programs.
Local ambassador of R&D – providing the R&D interface with the MCO and being part of project team and Country Category Business Team meetings.
Implements robust specifications and reports in the standard data management systems.
Co-own country Knowledge Based Selling (KBS) agenda together with MKT & CD Teams. Identify relevant KBS areas to sell in information to trade to maximize market success.
Close collaboration with Marketing, Procurement and Supply Chain departments and R&D capabilities supporting the business needs.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Min 4 years experience within R&D of Food industry.
Strong communication skills.
Organizational Awareness.
Development Principles and implementation.
Technical Management of projects.
Preferably Degree in Food Technology.
Fluency in English is a must and in Arabic is preferable.
COMPETENCIES
Proven track record of handling complex tasks and volatility in daily work.
Very good communication and team skills and readiness to work with international teams.
Proactive, can handle pressure under demanding market.
Analytical thinking and good at data analysis and understanding the systems and the interfaces.
Working experience within a multinational company would be an advantage.
